V. Tkachenko reveals within each of his paintings
a unique story of passion and grace. Incorporating
distinctive techniques and a broad palette of
colours. Victor Tkachenko has developed his
own style of contemporary expressionism. His
paintings express emotions that draw the viewer
in and ask them to actively contemplate his
work. Surrealism with a distinctive gothic intensity
best defines Tkachenko’s works. Thee figures
transfixed in jewel colours seem to float with
barely perceptible buoyancy. Heroic men and
women dressed in regal attire, notably the “Royal
Collection”, are portrayed in graceful
and cultured poses. Nature and her creatures
interact joyously with V. Tkachenko’s
mesmerizing subjects.
