Self taught, Azoulay has become internationally recognized for his ability to convey a purity of line that creates strong illusions of fluid motion. Crisscrossing the Globe from the age of fourteen, Azoulay absorbed life experience later translated onto canvas. Azoulay’s ability to portray both delicacy and bold strength has its genesis in his training as an actor.

His fascination with horses allows him to express his love of movement. Dances also fascinate his imagination again an opportunity to express tension of interacting lines.

Azoulay does not use models, preferring to rely on his memories. He is the youngest artist to be accepted in the Permanent Archives of the Louvre, Paris France.
